‘If you could make wooden furniture more sustainable, would you?’ That’s the question We Do Wood posed to themselves when they launched their Denmark-based furniture brand. And it turns out, the answer was Moso Bamboo. So that’s what every piece is made from.

The Correlations Bench is based on a Scandi classic – a functional bench with a removable lid, helping you keep things like throws and cushions hidden when not in use. Its got a slim, angular shape and a simple design – every unnecessary detail has been stripped back to basics.

Schneid proves that ethics and aesthetics can go hand in hand – a sustainable design brand creating contemporary furniture and accessories that favour bold shapes, colours and raw materials to pack a punch.

The Aura Vase is a range of curved, sensual ceramic vases, inspired by the female form. It gives them an organic, Scandi appearance that's complemented by their pastel tones. Each one's handmade in Schneid's studio, and is as much a piece of abstract art as it is a place to display your flowers.

The 4.9 Desk has a story behind its name: designer Marius Valaitis played with the notions of perfection vs. imperfection when creating this piece, and the number 4.9 does too (it's almost 5, but not quite). The angles of the desk are unusual, giving it an off-kilter look that's striking yet stable. And each end has an intentional 'groove' designed for storage. In simple light wood with one drawer, it's a minimal piece that creates maximum impact.

Return to Sender’s mission is life-changing – literally. The Dutch brand provides a platform for vulnerable women to share their craft, and each home accessory’s profit is ‘returned to sender’.

The Scoreboard is a colourful, play-inspired coat rack. A Moso Bamboo pegboard is plugged with moveable coloured pegs, each sturdy enough to take the weight of your favourite winter coat. Rearrange it as your wardrobe shifts, and pair it with other wooden pieces for a simple, Scandi look.

The Naive Low Chair is part of the Naive collection – sturdy and graceful wooden furniture with classic Scandi angled legs. The angled seat and curved back are super comfortable, and it looks just as good alone as it does surrounded by its matching pieces.

With the traditionally crafted Tap Water Carafe, artist Lotte de Raadt hopes to promote the consumption of tap water. The shape of the carafes portray the origins of Dutch water; the tall bottle with the long neck refers to water sourced from deep underground. The low, stout bottle is the ideal shape for collecting surface water, and the third can be filled with dune water. The stopper clearly displays the place where the contents were drawn: from the tap, naturally!
The carafe is produced by Lotte herself in her ceramics workshop in Eindhoven. This piece cools itself due to the use of natural terracotta.

Made to hold four bottles and six glasses of wine, this rack is made from one piece of natural Polish wood. A beeswax finish helps to bring out the details of the natural grain, giving some character to your shelf. A set of pegs necessary for self-assembly is added to the shelf.
