New & Lingwood’s a historical menswear brand with contemporary flair – combining prints and patterns with techniques that date back to 1865. Their flamboyant, fun fashion has a sartorial edge. Helping discerning gents dress for any occasion. New for the season, these tailored fit safari shirts are cut with two utility pockets on the chest for a rugged, smart-casual look. They are cut with a flattering tailored fit, soft collar and single cuffs. The sleeves can be rolled up and buttoned in place with an internal tab too. In soft délavé linen woven in Italy by Albini, these get better the more they’re worn and washed.

New & Lingwood has been helping gents dress for the occasion since 1865 – whether the occasion is lounging in luxury or stepping out in style. Founded in Eton – the lap of luxury – the sartorial menswear brand began by fitting scholars and college masters, and has since branched out to locations in central London. And while the scholars still head here first for their finery, it’s loved by all gents who prefer clothing with character, and their sartorial fashion with a playful edge.

Special Care

• Before washing be sure to undo all buttons, to alleviate the strain on the button stitching. Remember to remove the collar stiffeners. • Turn your shirt inside-out to protect buttons from chipping and to allow the cleaning agents direct access to underarms stains. • Shirts should generally be washed at 40 degrees Celsius, but check the individual product labels for washing instructions that may differ from this. • Line dry or dry in an airing cupboard. Do not tumble dry as this tends to wear out the points of the collar and cuffs. • Iron shirts whilst still slightly damp for best results. Be sure to use the ‘cotton’ setting found on most irons. • Once ironed, hang on a good quality hanger with the top button fastened and leave to air. • If possible, keep shirts hung in a wardrobe with a little space between each to minimize any further creasing whilst in storage.
