Born in Paris, made in Italy and world renowned: Pete Sorensen’s handcrafted shoes are a luxe look. They’re pieced together using traditional Italian ‘by hand’ techniques – there’s 100 steps, to be precise. And because they choose timeless yet contemporary styles, they’ll last a lifetime. The Detroit Boots are a pair of vintage-style lace up boots, handcrafted to perfection. To give them their vintage look, their leather is washed out then tapped by hand with hot stones – a look that'll only get better with age. And with a laminated sole and twine laces, they're a striking pair of boots to add to your jeans and a sweater uniform.

Pete Sorensen’s come a long way since its humble beginnings in 2011 – quickly outgrowing the founders’ Paris apartment-turned-studio to become a fully fledged, world-renowned brand. Their approach is admirably artisan – handcrafting each pair of leather shoes piece by piece in Italy, sticking to timeless silhouettes made to last. In fact, it takes over 100 steps to create each shoe – a luxe way to step out in style, and a modern approach to luxury.
